The short version: your music never leaves your computer.
Clipdeck runs entirely in your browser. Your projects, samples, settings and license key are stored in your browser's own storage (localStorage and IndexedDB) on your device. There is no Clipdeck server, no account, and nothing is uploaded when you make music.
When you create a share link, the project itself is compressed into the link's URL fragment. Fragments are not sent to web servers by browsers — but anyone you give the link to can open the project. Sample audio does not travel in links.
No analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies of ours, no third-party scripts. The app is served as static files from Cloudflare Pages, which logs requests at the network level like any host (we don't see or use this beyond aggregate delivery).
If you buy Clipdeck Pro, the payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's pages; we never see your card details. The license key you receive is checked inside your browser.
Recording and input monitoring use your microphone only while you use those features, only after the browser asks you, and the audio goes into your local project — nowhere else.
